The fires

The sand pit

The huge sticks

ahhh

Life was good

We Seized the day

Both the cover

and the time we spent

And then we listened to Shadows and Regrets

Sometimes I wished you stayed
The times we breathed
When I think of them made
Comes Sadness not reprieve

I blamed you for it
Shock and disbelief
You left me in the pits
A hurt with no relief

We were the best
Arguments, fights were rough
Pittance compared to the rest
Made up and laugh

You left and now your gone
A thousand miles afar
Things changed so long
New experiences on par?

This bond we expose
Something we shared as mates
What made us close
Brings pains that separate

When we meet up again
It never be the same
Years down the drain
Lost so much time

Never knew it be like this
Feels like a dreamy mist
Perhaps I did miss
Who expected this twist?

So we believe otherwise
But yet did not believe so
Covering eyes ignoring unwise
Yet bliss evades oh

The blame was built
Problem prominent
Neither free of guilt
Fall out, imminent

Time passes nothing matters
Separated by distances far
